Just As Free

I can honestly say that despite all of the government troubles and political battles, I am proud to be an American, and that I do live in the greatest country in the world! It is important to remember, especially now, that whether you are a Republican or a Democrat, we are all Americans, and we all want the best for our country. 

This year's election, is the first I am able to vote in, and as I am sitting here, listening to fireworks outside my window, I am confident that as an American, I am so lucky because of all of the rights and freedom I have. There is always room to grow, but it is nice to know that as a citizen of this country, I am given the choice to voice my opinion and change things for the better.
