To me, Fall is the best season as far as fashion. It is a transitional season from warm to cooler weather where you can get away with basically any outfit you'd like. My favorite thing to do is layer summer dresses under sweaters and tunics.
This Fall's trends are fairly basic and easy to follow. Isabel Marant's FW13 collection is a great example of how to style your outfits for the upcoming season! This season is all about embellishments. From studs and sequins to embroidery and exposed stitching. Pair embellished accessories and dresses with your favorite basic knit sweater. Layer, layer, layer! Chunky knits over linen or silk gives a great contrast to an outfit as does a sheer top over a slip and jeans. Play with length as well. Muted monochromatic outfits that are minimalistic will be seen as well. This season's top colors will be white, cream, gray, charcoal, maroon, navy and black. Be sure to incorporate at least three different shades of which ever color you choose to create depth.
