My 'Basics' Wishlist

|Birkenstock Arizona Sandals, $130| I wear my other Birkenstocks to my six hour drawing class where we are standing the whole time, and they give my feet so much support and are honestly the most comfortable pair of shoes that I own. I'd love to own a pair in this style, and I love the brown! I've had my other Birks for four years, and it's time for some new ones!

|Seamed Bambi Flare, $128| In general, I love flare jeans! These are especially cool because they have the raw edge on the bottom and super edgy and flattering seams running up and down the legs. I also love the different color denim!

|Soft Dream Tee, $38| I am a huge fan of oversized tees and this one looks extra cozy. I think I would live in it!

|Original Satchel, $246| My aunt has this bag and she doesn't have enough good things to say about it! She has had hers for a few years now and still looks new! She told me she put it out in the sun to make the leather straps darker, and looks incredible. This bag has the perfect amount of space for everything you need (or think you need). It also comes with a detachable pouch that could be used for makeup or pens!

|Adidas by Stella McCartney Top, $90| I love my yoga, and this top would be perfect! I love that it has the racerback in front and the mesh tank look which makes it different from every other activewear top! I also really like the flattering seams running up the sides! <3

Up & Coming Trends: Exposed Bras

When I sat down with Free People's President, Meg Hayne, she told me one of her favorite up and coming trends is the exposed bra. She loves lace detailing and caged bras especially!Meg said she loves not only low armholes, but also exaggerated low backs and even plunging necklines. The word that she used to describe this look is 'provocative,' but that is not to be confused with what she said is, "Some college girl who wants to wear a tight dress to show off her body. Not slutty."24963324_001_e If you want to try this out, here are a few good options:

FPme #fallchallenge

I'm so excited to show you guys my entries for Free People's FPme Fall Challenge! If you don't know what FPme is, it's Free People's social community which allows girls to upload their own pictures of them styled in Free People clothing!--I like to think of it as an Instagram for Free People addicts like myself! I was invited by Free People to take part in their Fall Challenge which is to style their LA Nite Tank and Beanie.

Screen Shot 2013-10-17 at 12.31.38 PMMy first look was grunge inspired with a bohemian twist. I layered the Lucy Button Front Maxi Slip over the LA Nite Tank with another slip underneath the tank. I added the Vintage Jacquard Pants for an unexpected texture, along with the Donovan boots which add a toughness to the look, as does the Knit Hooded Denim Jacket. The last piece added to my look is the Antalya Coin Collar for depth and detail! You can heart this look HERE.

For my second look, I paired the LA Nite Tank with the Floral Flyaway Skirt (<3). I added my own knee-high boots, the Antalya Coin Collar, and Knit Hooded Denim Jacket for structure. You can heart this look HERE.

For my third look, I wore the LA Nite Tank, Vintage Jacquard Pants, and Donovan Boots, and added a chunky scarf and the FP One Golden Age Top backwards as a cardigan. You can heart this look HERE.

Revlon by Marchesa Nail Appliques

Good news: everyone can now afford to have a little piece of the drool-worthy couture brand, Marchesa!   Revlon and Marchesa recently partnered together to create intricate nail appliqués, inspired by a few of Marchesa's couture gown designs. The eight designs feature 3D jewels and glitter. Each design is now available at various drugstores ($9.99).

According to Marchesa, two more collections will launch in late 2013 and 2014 which will include nail polish, lip, eye and beauty tools. "When we were first approached by Revlon about a potential collaboration, Keren and I were really excited about the chance to partner with an iconic brand that believes, as we do, in making a woman feel beautiful while remaining true to herself," said Marchesa co-founder and designer Georgina Chapman. "Through Revlon’s incredible global reach, we will be able to bring a little piece of Marchesa to women around the world."

I think all of these designs are gorgeous! -I can't decide which is my favorite yet. Would you rock these?
